Qatari Ambassador to Egypt Seif Bin Mokadem el-Bouenin has passed on an invite to the Egyptian Information Minister Salah Abdel-Maksoud to visit the country on a fact-finding media delegation. The invitation was originally sent by Sheikh Hamad Bin Thamer, chairman of Qatar’s Media Institute. Planned talks would focus on an exchange of media experiences in the two countries. The Qatari Ambassador recently met with Egyptian media officials, praising the country’s “historic role” in Arab media development and expressing hopes for stability and development in the future.
