Qatar News Agency (QNA) will host Monday a training course entitled "Knowledge Media and Websites" in the framework of a series of courses organized by QNA Department of Foreign Media Affairs for the rehabilitation and training of Qatari cadres working in the media field.
Journalists and representatives from a number of media organizations will take part in the three-day course which will be lectured by Dr. Florence al-Aswad, an expert and journalist in the field of electronic journalism.
The training course aims to recognize the difference between information and knowledge, the role of social networks as one of the sources of knowledge in media work, and the comparison between Arab and international media websites.
The training courses, organized continuously by QNA, come in implementation to the Emiri decision NO. (51) of 2009, which entrusted QNA with the task of providing continuous media training to Qatari media persons in order to improve their performance through ongoing training and development programs.
