An official source at the Saudi Arabia's Foreign Ministry denied allegations published by the UK newspaper (The Independent) that the Iraqi Foreign Ministry demanded the withdrawal of Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Iraq Thamer Al- Sabhan for refusing to condemn a person named "Abdulsalam Al-Sabhan".
The newspaper claimed that Abdulsalam Al-Sabhan was the ambassador's cousin and died while fighting with ISIS terrorist group.
The source told Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that there is no relative to Ambassador Thamer Al- Sabhan named Abdulsalam Al-Sabhan, adding that the said person does not belong to the family of the ambassador.
The official source demanded media to show accuracy and professionalism in reporting news.
