Adviser to the Saudi Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Muhanna, opened the workshop for media men at the second Petroleum Media Forum of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
The event is held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud under the title 'GCC Petroleum Media: Issues and Challenges', according to the Saudi official press agency (SPA) yesterday.
The workshop featured two working papers. The first paper was presented by the Saudi governor to the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) Dr. Mohamed Al-Mady.
It discussed oil marketing and the increased demand for oil due to the increased number of world population, SPA reported.
