Unified press, media law to be addressed in 1st cabinet meeting

The unified bill on press and media will be addressed during the first cabinet meeting next week in preparation for sending it to the parliament, Minister of Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Magdy Agaty said.
The joint committee working on the blueprint finalized it on Monday, he said.
He said there will be a recommendation to amend penal code stripping publication-linked freedoms.
This was not mentioned in the bill for technical reasons, he said.
