Taylor Swift, Calvin Harris share a very public private momentmay now be a happily married man, but that doesn't change his need to snap back into shape for his Leftovers role.
The newlywed to actress Jennifer Aniston spoke with People upon his return from his exotic honeymoon in Bora Bora to talk about what his arrival on-set of the post-apocalyptic show was like.
According to Theroux, his cast-mates and crew gave him a "big cheer" before he got back to work on his role as Kevin Garvey. "It was wonderful," he said.
Season 2 of The Leftovers is expected to hold some major changes in scenery as Theroux's character moves from New York to Texas.
"It's a town that's literally bordered by a fence," he told the outlet. "For my character and his insta-family, it's a fresh start. But it boxes them in -- in a weird and wonderful way."
Theroux married Aniston in a surprise ceremony Aug. 5 before embarking on a tropical honeymoon surrounded by good friends in Bora Bora. The group, including Courtney Cox, Jimmy Kimmel and Jason Bateman took part in activities like early morning yoga.
"It does feel different," Theroux said of being husband to his bride. "I'm very happy," he added. "It's nice to be able to look down and see a new piece of jewelry on my finger."
The pair have been together since 2011. Aniston was previously married to actor Brad Pitt between 2000 and 2005; meanwhile, Theroux was linked to stylist Heidi Bivens between 1997 and 2011. The newly married duo confirmed their engagement in 2012.
