Uma Thurman has addressed her relationship with Quentin Tarantino.
The 44-year-old actress broke her silence on the dating rumors in an interview with Vs. magazine. Recent reports suggest the pair are now a couple, but Thurman remained coy about the relationship.
"I was discussing [the rumors] with Mr. Tarantino last night," she shared. "He was angry at me for not calling him back, because as he said, 'According to the papers we are practically married!' and he laughed hysterically."
"So our relationship is pretty much what it's always been," she continued. "People are just having fun with it."
Thurman is often referred to as Tarantino's muse, having starred in his films Pulp Fiction (1994), Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003) and Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004). The pair have been friends for years, and have previously denied romantic involvement. Us Weekly reported in May that the two had taken their relationship to the next level.
"They had a thing and got together again recently," a source told the magazine. "He's loved her for years."
"There has always been an attraction," a different insider said. "She has indulged from time to time, and that's how their relationship has always worked."
Thurman was involved with financier Arpad Busson for years, but the couple called off their engagement for the second time in April. She and Tarantino are rumored to be working on a third volume in the Kill Bill series.
