The three Palestinian Arabic dailies focused in their Thursday issue on a notification by Israeli authorities handed to a Palestinian family in East Jerusalem to leave their home within a month.
The dailies said that an Israeli court in Jerusalem gave Mazen Kamal Qersh, a Palestinian from Jerusalem’s Old City, and his family a deadline of one month to leave their home and to pay a fine of 250,000 shekels ($66,000).
On a different subject, al-Ayyam and al-Hayat al-Jadida said clashes erupted between Israeli soldiers and local youths after the former broke into the town of Kafr Aqab, to the north of Jerusalem.
They said several cases of injury among Palestinians during the clashes were reported.
Al-Ayyam and al-Quds said that Israeli army declared it has detained two suspects into a bombing which targeted Israeli troops outside the town of Hazma, northeast of Jerusalem, on Tuesday night.
Al-Quds and al-Ayyam, in a different subject, said that deputy chief of the Islamic Hamas Movement, Ismail Haniya, declared that he was informed that Switzerland will sponsor a conference on intra-Palestinian reconciliation in the upcoming months.
