The Palestinian Foreign Ministry urged the international community on Tuesday to intervene to rescue a Palestinian journalist detained by Israel.

Mohamed al Qiq has slipped into a coma after entering his 63rd day of hunger strike.

In a statement, the ministry urged an immediate release of al Qiq and all other Palestinian detainees and captives.

It also revealed directives by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to all Palestinian embassies to expose Israel's humanitarian crimes against Palestinians abroad.
