The Ministry of Information, in collaboration with the National Project for Youth Program, have launched a program dubbed (Kuwait hears) via Kuwait radio and television. This initiative is a translation of directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his interest in his youngsters as well as to activate the role of the ministry to desseminate the voice of youth ahead of the National Conference for Youth in November. Meanwhile, the Arab music station with frequency 103.7 began last Thursday at 8:00 p.m. broadcasting the first episodes of this national program which was delivered by Broadcaster Saad Al-Fendi and directed by Gamal Atallah. The episode briefed listeners on objectives of the project. Kuwait TV will begin broadcasting the one-hour (Kuwait hears) program as of September 25, at 10:00 p.m. Acting Information Ministry's Undersecretary for news and political programs and team leader Faisal Al-Mutlaqqem said that the implmentation of this national project conforms with the directives of His Highness the Amir and by directives of Information Minister and Undersecretary. He added in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the team has held several meetings during which it discussed several ideas aimed at promoting the conference, including the production of two radio and television programs titled (Kuwait hears) run by a group of young Kuwait media caders. For his part, Head of the Executive Office of the National Youth Program Dr. Jasim Faisal Al-Rubaiaan said he was pleased for the fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of Information, stressing that the program (Kuwait hears), which was launched via Kuwait radio and television, is one of the most important channels of communication with the Kuwaiti youth in the coming period in order to become acquainted with their ideas and suggestions.
