H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister yesterday launched a campaign, ‘Emarati, wherever I am', as part of the celebrations of the 43rd National Day of the U.A.E..
In a tweet on the occasion, H.H. wrote: "Brothers and sisters wherever you are, please join us in celebrating the anniversary of the U.A.E. National Day. No matter how far you are, you will always remain in our hearts... and we look forward to your contributions to mark these precious moments." Contributions will be made through a dedicated website "www.emaratiwhereveriam.ae".
The ‘Emarati, wherever I am' campaign is an invitation to all the citizens of the U.A.E. living or visiting abroad to participate in the 43rd U.A.E. National Day by posting video clips of their celebrations, not exceeding 3 minutes, on a dedicated website. The clips will be used in the production of a short film on the U.A.E. National Day celebrations around the world, which will be broadcast in December.
The campaign hashtag launched by H.H. Sheikh Abdullah witnessed massive engagement from the public to express loyalty and dedication to serve the country. Tweeters showed their strong connection to the country and leadership and the campaign concept that targets Emaratis worldwide.
The special website launched for this campaign, www.emaratiwhereveriam.ae, includes detailed information on how to participate in the campaign and how to film the clips, and contains guidelines that must be followed during filming. It also includes instructions about the registration process and uploading of the video clips.
