The House of Representatives General Secretariat reviewed its experience with social media as part of its participation in the Youth Forum themed (Women and Social Media) organized by the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) marking the Day for Bahraini Women. Media Supervisor Areej Ma'tooq and Systems Analyst Ibrahim Saleh in the SCW's General Secretariat reviewed the SCW's experience of investing in social media, effective techniques and strategies adopted by the Secretariat to attract audience. The SCW shares its events and forums with the House of Representatives emanating from its belief in the significance of the media sector, especially the social media, engaging the public in democratization, decision-making, technological advancement and development of parliamentary work.
