The Ministry of Foreign Affairs launched, in collaboration with the eGovernment Authority, the (e-Register Service) for Bahrainis wishing to study or travel abroad. This service is launched on both: the Ministry of Foreign Affair’ website: www.mofa.gov.bh, and e-government portal: http://www.bahrain.bh.
This service is designed in two sections. Section One is for students who wish to pursue their studies abroad. This service allows the student to fill in his personal and academic information and updated them electronically after entering the identification number designated to him when the registration procedure is completed.
Following successful registration, the Kingdom’s Embassy and Cultural Attaché could easily communicate with the student on all matters concerned him.
The second section of this service concerns the citizens who wish to travel abroad. It allows citizens to fill their data online. This service makes it possible to communicate with them at any time by Bahraini Diplomatic missions abroad, especially in case of emergency. In addition, they could provide the citizens abroad all necessary information on election, alerts and any other relevant information.
This service will also be launched via Mobile phones in the near future which will be announced in due course.
