Kristen Bell is known for her witty remarks and comical antics, but stick her in an Uber carpool and she'd probably be tweeting away in the corner.
At least that's what happened Thursday night when Bell mistook the "pool" option on Uber for a "fun summer reference. like how @google changes fonts to celebrate holidays." What ended up happening was worthy of a live-tweet session -- Bon Jovi sing-along and all.
When Bell, 34, realized she was about to be part of a carpool she tweeted, "this should be fun." But what she entered instead was a dead-silent experience, she wrote: "this silence is the only thing more awkward than if all of us were talking."
Less than five minutes later, her carpool buddy spontaneously started singing Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer" aloud to himself, Bell observed that he knew the words pretty well, calling the performance "impressive."
Throughout the car ride, Bell used the hasthag #ubercarpool.
Turning her attention outside the window, the Frozen star snapped a photo of a loitering man "in a bullet proof vest. or half a star wars costume. couldn't tell." And joked that one "repels bullets" and the other "repels women," alongside the hashtag #ZING.
About ten minutes later, after speculating that maybe her fellow rider was coming to her house, Bell made it home safe and sound. She thanked her driver and ended the session with, "thank you for the ride, emanuel. it was full of surprises."
