Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim has revealed his backing for the new Ora.tv online TV station. The company is currently building up a roster of content for when it launches sometime in 2012, but has confirmed that it it will bring about the return of US TV legend Larry King to the small screen. King's trademark interviews will be one of the star attractions of Ora.TV which claims that it will create "high quality video programming" for an array of platforms such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, connected TVs and other connected devices. The on demand network adds that from its inception it will produce a wide range of programmes that "transcend traditional formats " with content that will "resemble broadcast TV in terms of quality, but viewers will watch shows when and where they like with interactive capability."
