UAE Consulate in Barcelona launches website

Salem Rashid Al Owais, UAE Consul-General in Barcelona, has launched the consulate's official website, in both Arabic and Spanish.

The launch of the site comes within the framework of the UAE Foreign Ministry's policy to develop its performance and diplomatic missions abroad and to facilitate communication with the public.

Speaking on the occasion, Al Owais said that one of the consulate's main roles is to look after the interests of its citizens when present in Catalonia, and that it has been keen to establish the site to provide information and answers to common questions required when visiting the Spanish region, from leisure, tourism, and medical treatment to business and investment.
