Director of the 21st Gulf Cup football tournament Ahmed Al Nuaimi received a delegation from Qatari TV channel Al Kass, who arrived in Manama to discuss the possibility of telecasting the draw ceremony that will take place on October 18, in addition to discussing many other media topics concerning joint co-operation in order to highlight the important of this regional gathering. The meeting was attended by representatives from the channel, including director Isa bin Abdulla Al Hitmi, director of programs Farouq Al Khalidi, director of technical operation Turki Al Subaie and head of Program Production Abdullah Ahmad. Nuaimi praised the efforts of channel to cover most of the sporting events at all levels and in various competitions, pointing its respectable reputation, being enjoyed by the channel, which has become one of the most important satellite television stations that is interested all aspects of sports events in the region. Al Naimi noted that the organizing committee of the tournament is keen to facilitate all administrative procedures for the media in the Gulf and Arab region to cover the draw ceremony. The delegation also held another meeting with head of the media committee Tawfiq Salehi, as channel director revealed certain points that requires co-ordination, such as the possibility of broadcasting the ceremony and what are the procedures that must be taken by the channel in this context. On his part, Al Hitmi expressed the channel's keenness to highlight the 21st edition of the Gulf Cup in Bahrain, praising the co-operation of the organizing committee for the succession of this event, stressing that the special sections in channel have already been harnessing the capabilities available to broadcast the competition and prepare the necessary information materials. In regards to the details of the channel preparations for the tournament, Al Hitmi said that the channel will provide private studios during the matches, featuring program of the Majles, in addition to many of the daily reports and interviews, which is in line with the visions of the channel to be a key partner in the success of the competition. Al Hitmi also talked about the Kingdom of Bahrain hosting the 21st Gulf Cup, stressing absolute confidence in the ability of Manama in organising this prestigious event, and gave many examples of the sports competitions held in Bahrain in recent years. On his part, Al Salehi lauded the steps made by the channel and its eagerness to show the draw ceremony to the public, pointing out that the media committee of the tournament is sparing no efforts to make this event a special one. Al Salehi noted the importance of the satellite television channels presence at the ceremony, and stressed that the committee will be exerting great efforts in order to facilitate the tasks of the media representatives wishing to cover the ceremony.
