Private satellite channel Dream TV will be back on air within days, a well-placed source at the channel said. In exclusive statements to MENA, the source said that the Administrative Court will look today into a lawsuit filed against a decision by the information minister to stop broadcasting of the channel. The source went on to say that if the ruling is in the interest of the channel or not, the channel will resume broadcasting within days. The source added that Ahmed Bahgat, owner and CEO of the channel, informed them that the channel will be back on air soon and if the court ruled against the channel, it will broadcast from Cyprus, Yemen or Dubai. The state-owned Egyptian Satellite Company (Nilesat) cut the transmission of Dream TV, the first Egyptian satellite channel to air programs on Nilesat, for violating the law regulating the work of satellite channels, which obliges all satellite channels to broadcast from the Egyptian Media Production City.
