The Middle East Broadcasting Centre (MBC) announced Mostafa Metwaly as the new director of MBC Egypt satellite channel. MBC General Manager Ali Gaber said "appointing Metwaly came amid new plans to develop MBC Egypt. We are trying to succeed among local audiences and other competing channels, through talented professional Egyptian team and depending on young professionals who have the ability to develop innovative ideas for Egyptian viewers.” Financial and Administrative Director at MBC Egypt Sameh Hanzal said Metwaly is fit for the job and is experienced and ready to take over. “We will support him with what we can for him to succeed.” Egyptian Mostafa Metwaly obtained a bachelor’s degree from Aswan University. He was the developing director at one of the most prominent private Egyptian media associations.
