The cabinet is in full support of resolving the issue of students who have not been accepted at Kuwait University (KU), Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Ahmad Al-Mlaifi said on Monday. Al-Mlaifi told the press after the meeting for the parliament's education, cultural, and guidance committee that the government would provide the necessary financial aid for the KU to allow some 2,095 admissions next semester. The cabinet was also eager to discuss increasing the number of students selected for scholarship and studying abroad. He affirmed that solutions were put to prevent such problem from reccurring in the future.
