Egypt, Belarus sign MOU on cooperation in scientific research, innovation

Ambassador of Belarus here Sergei Rachkov said a memorandum of understanding has been signed between Egypt's Scientific Research and Technology and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus to bolster cooperation in the scientific research and innovation between the two countries.

In statements on Monday, the ambassador said the signing of the MOU took place on the fringe of a roundtable held Sunday between the two countries.

The roundtable discussed means of exchanging expertise in the field of water desalination, agro engineering, remote sensing and space photography.

A delegation from the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus is currently visiting here. It toured the Central Metallurgical Research and Development Institute and Zuweil City of Science and Technology.
