Students and school administrators representing the Kuwaiti Ministry of Education at the GCC-sponsored 16th edition of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for distinguished Academic Excellence won a number of highly-coveted accolades, it was learned here on Saturday. Kuwaiti student Hiba Al-Fadhli won the award for best student and Nawaf Al-Mutairi and Ala'a Al-Kanderi won for best teachers in addition to the administrative staff at the Kuwaiti school Subai'a bint Hareth for best-run school, said the Award coordinator Naji Dhaifalla, in a press statement. He expressed satisfaction with the good showing of Kuwaitis at this event, promising that the Kuwaiti team for the next one will be larger and more competitive.
