The car of a 22-year-old Emirati, who is said to be missing for over a week, has been spotted at a mall in Dubai, according to Dubai Police. A social media campaign seeking the help of the public to trace the 22-year-student has been on. The Emirati is a student of Human Resource Management (HRM) at the American University in the Emirates (AUE). Director of Dubai Police Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Brig. Khalel Ebrahim Al Mansouri said that the student was "hours away from being found." Al Mansouri underlined that "the search is under way and people should not panic. We are in touch with the family," he said. "Simply be sure that we are close to getting him." Many readers had reported to 'The Gulf Today' that they had received messages on their mobile phones about a missing person named YO.
