A ceremony was held here on Thursday for the graduation of offiers and non-commissioned officers from Qatar after completing a civil defence training course held at the Singapore Civil Defence Academy. The graduation ceremony was attended by HE Qatar''s Ambassador to Singapore Rashid Bin Ali Al Khater who is also dean of the arab diplomatic corps to the Republic of Singapore. The Qatari diplomat lauded during his meeting with the Qatari graduates numbering 25 , their efforts and the performance they achieved during the course. HE Al Khater urged them to benefit from the infomation they acquired during the course to proceed forward to upgrade and develop their skills in all fields to raise Qatar''s name so high wishing them meantime further success and prominence. For his part, Director of the Singapore Civil Defence Academy Col.Christopher Tan, conveyed in an address marking the graduation ceremony, congratulations to the Qatari graduates wishing them more success. For their part, the graduates provided a presentation to highlight and showcase the skills they acquired during their training course.
