Yemen and Turkey agreed here on Sunday to establish typical schools called "Yemeni-Turkish Schools" in the capitals of the country's six regions and later in the provinces' capitals.
During their meeting, Education Minister Abdul-Razzaq al-Ashwal and director of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) office in Yemen Faruk Bozgoz discussed the possible ways to enhance the cooperation relations between Yemen and TIKA in the educational sector.
Al-Ashwal and Bozgoz also agreed to outfit the General Corporation for School Book Printing Presses (GCSBPP) with modern machines and teaching Turkish language in a number of Yemen's schools.
