Upon directives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Honorary President of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO), and under the patronage of its Board of Trustees Chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, RCO will host the 13th ceremony to honour top-acheiving students.
The annual honouring ceremony is held annually in line with HM the King's fatherly interest and care in Bahraini students, and directives to provide full education opportunities for RCO affiliates.
RCO Secretary-General Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayyad extended sincere thanks and appreciation to HM King Hamad for his constant interest in RCO-affiliated students, and support to RCO projects in order to enable it to provide outstanding services for them.
He lauded the support of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and backing of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.
He paid tribute to Shaikh Nasser for patronising the event, which affirms, anew, his interest in RCO's students and keenness to encourage them to continue their education successfully.
Al-Sayyed explained that a total of 183 students from all educational stages would be honoured, and that the Faisal bin Hamad Award for Academic Excellence would be conferred on four students who had achieved the highest marks in each grade.
