Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi will participate in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)'s 17th Higher Education and Scientific Research Ministerial Commission in the Sultanate of Oman's capital, Muscat, in the period March 9-11.
The GCC education ministers will discuss several items on its agenda, including the State of Qatar's paper on joint investment on education, equal admission and treatment of GCC citizens in governmental universities and higher education institutions.
The ministerial meeting will also discuss the Ministerial Council's resolutions regarding fake universities and academic associations, boosting citizenship among GCC citizens, encouragement of education activity among GCC higher education institutions, boosting the role of educational institutions in developing the culture of voluntary work and shedding light on distinctive new experiences.
