The Minister of State for Human Rights Affairs Dr. Salah bin Ali Abdulrahman on Tuesday received the Kingdom University's Dean of Arts College, Dr. Ridha Amin.
The Minister stressed the role of tertiary education in boosting community development and expanding knowledge and culture by producing specialized, skillful, knowledgeable graduates to the labour market who will serve the community in various fields.
The Minister was briefed by the Dean of Arts College on the University's programmes and activities in various fields and its role, mission to develop alumni who will contribute to the country's progress.
Dr. Amin presented to the Minister a copy of his book "Media, Political Tweets". The Minister commended the value of the informative book and the contributions of authors to enrichment of the national library The Minister also received a copy of the University's Periodic Publication on its programmes.
The College Dean has expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Minister of Human Rights Affairs, praising the Ministry's efforts in spreading the culture of human rights and performance of its mission. He also expressed the University's readiness to cooperate with the Ministry and present joint programmes in the field of rights.
