Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Abdul Rahman, Director of Dubai's College of Islamic and Arabic Studies, has met with Shushilil Azam Shuib, Malaysian Educational Consul, and his accompanying delegation, to discuss strengthening their cooperation in the fields of higher education and scientific research, and ways to benefit from the application of modern technology to achieve sustainable scientific development in the university sector.
Speaking during the meeting, Dr. Abdul Rahman said the college will do all it can to pursue educational and cultural cooperation with the International Islamic University of Malaysia through strengthening mutual relations based on cultural agreements, Memoranda of Understanding and collaborations.
The Malaysian Educational Consul noted that Juma Al Majid, Chairman and Founder of the Islamic and Arabic Studies College, which was established in 1987, is a role model in the field of higher education and research, recognised for his commitment to preserving Arab and Islamic identity.
He explained that the visit aims to build a network of relationships to raise mutual agreements between the two sides on issues such as scientific research, Arabic language and Islamic studies programmes, joint research, workshops, conferences, and seminars.
