Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi has lauded the initiatives of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, to honour Bahraini women and highlight the important role they play in Bahrain's progress and development.
This came as the Minister attended a celebration themed "Women in the Military Field", organised by the Committee to celebrate Bahraini Women's Day at the Ministry, in which the supervisors of the environmental security and safety were honoured, along with the schools who scored outstanding and good at The National Authority for Qualifications and Quality Assurance of Education and Training (QQA)'s latest reviews.
The Minister gave a speech in which he expressed appreciation for Bahraini women, who participates efficiently with men in protecting Bahrain's gains, pointing out that Bahriani girls' enrollment in schools is considered a milestone contribution by the government as it upgrades women's awareness on all levels, thanks to the key role played by women in the Ministry of Education's community activities to serve Bahrain's prosperity.
ASPnet-Bahrain Chairwoman and Head of the Committee to celebrate Bahraini Women's Day Kefaya Al-Anzoor lauded the impact of support and encouragement received by women on their accomplishments, pointing out that celebrating women in the military field is one of women's bright contributions in all fields, affirming that the Ministry works in line with the principle of equal opportunities of allowing women to assume leading positions and engaging her in putting the educational strategy so as to prepare the leaders of the future.
