Higher Education Minister El Sayyed Abdel Khaleq is in good health but suffers from some bruises which he sustained during a car accident early Wednesday.
A Higher Education Ministry source told MENA that the accident took place when the minister was on his way to the cabinet HQ and a car veered off the road in Nasr City. The minister's driver tried to dodge the car, but three cars collided.
The minister's car was smashed when it collided.
The minister was rushed to hospital to make sure that he is not suffering any fractions or serious injuries.
Traffic in the accident area was restored to normal.
