Emkan Education has entered into a strategic partnership with Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), the world’s largest provider of international education programs.
The deal seeks to improve professional practice and enhance student learning. Emkan, as a Cambridge Associate will be the crucial link between Cambridge and individual schools in order to deliver qualifications and a variety of programs, products and services.
The agreement comes in line with Saudi Vision 2030, which encourages partnerships between local and international organizations, public and private partnerships in order to contribute to education development in a sustainable manner.
The program aims to introduce all CIE assessments and qualifications in the Kingdom’s schools and support the development of its schools through the adoption of best practices and quality standards. It also entails the provision of professional training for teachers through the Professional Development Qualifications (PDQ).
Monera Jamjoom, Emkan Education co-founder and CEO, said educational services, whether in the form of consultation, educational content, technologies, or training, is the future of education development.
“The private school market is growing in the Kingdom and the need of local companies that provide premium educational services for school improvement is crucial,” she said.
“Emkan aims to be the educational arm that reduces the gap between education policy making and the reality experienced by schools, teachers and students. We aim to be the partner that works with the government, schools, teachers and students. We are proud to be a small and medium-sized enterprise run by over 15 young men and women. Despite being small, our team is capable of doing double the amount of work pulled off by larger companies. We are passionate and dedicated and share the same values,” Jamjoom added
