The Foreign Ministry received on Tuesday a delegation of students at Kenya's National Defense college, currently visiting here till December 12.
A statement released by the Foreign Ministry said the 13-member delegation includes military men from various African countries (Kenya, Zimbabwe, South African and Rwanda), Kenyan civilians and Senior Directing Staff National Defense College Maj Gen Jackson Waweru.
The visit aims at briefing the delegation on the latest developments in Egypt and the moves made by the state to realize security and stability.
The delegation's visit to Egypt comes as part of a program to train senior military men and civil officials on strategic affairs, public policies as well as other academic issues.
Assistant Foreign Minister for Nile Basin States Affairs Minister Plenipotentiary Mohammad Al-Hamzawi, his deputy Minister Plenipotentiary Sherif Issa welcomed the delegation at the Foreign Ministry premises. The two sides discusses a set of political and strategic issues of common interest.
The delegation thanked the Egyptian diplomats on the warm welcome they received at the Foreign Ministry.
