The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs said on Tuesday it was in close contact with Jordanian students in various Ukrainian cities to secure their return home after completing their studies.
Spokeswoman Sabah Rafei said the ministry had succeeded to bring back home hundreds of students who had finished their studies and was coordinating with the cultural adviser and concerned authorities on its plan for their homecoming.
She urged the students and other Jordanian nationals to exercise maximum caution due to the security conditions in Ukraine and to stay clear of protest and assembly points.
Rafei asked all students in the East Ukrainian city of Donetsk and other trouble spots to contact the ministry’s operations centre to learn about their circumstances and advised caution.
