The US Embassy in Cairo said it will support in partnership with the Egyptian government and the private sector a new project that aims to develop vocational education and training.
In statements on Saturday, USAID/Egypt Economic Growth Director William Patterson said the project will aim to foster economy via preparing students for job markets.
In a press release, the US Embassy said the 22.1 million dollar project will aim to boost relations between employers and training centers in the coming three years.
The project will also enhance the capabilities of employees in various sectors and specified governorates.
This comes within the cooperation among USAID, the Egyptian Education Ministry, the Vocational Training Center, the private sector and the Egyptian National Competitiveness Council (ENCC).
