Student Mohammed Al-Muddahi orated a poem in praise of GCC unity themed (Gulf of Pride) in which he accentuated the solid deep-rooted bonds which join all GCC citizens together. Below is an English rendering of the winning poem:- Habitually, all of us Arabs are firm brethren. We subdue prose and exert everything that is dear when calamities do strike. I mean our Gulf teeming with prosperity and welfare our Sheikhs are really amiable brothers, Six brave GCC leaders are the best of leaders. The Kingdom of Bahrain, State of Kuwait, State of Qatar, Sultanate of Oman, The UAE - Sheikh Zayed's homeland - and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia verily form one GCC family. GCC unity in one entity is admirable to both friend and foe. Closest are our ranks and we quiver not because of any rumor or misstatement. Amicable, friendly and close relations form in terms of our mutual discourse. Nephews and uncles we consider each other. When praising ourselves, the tiniest one of us fills a full anthology. My paeans are humbled when it comes to praising our beloved GCC leaders. It is worth mentioning that the upcoming version of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS)'s President HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa Award for Youth and Sports Creativity will be organized at international level for the first time in order to expand participation in the Award and achieve more benefit through exchanging of successful expertise of Bahraini and GCC youths in the Award's domain with their peers from all over the world.
