Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, October 6 University participated in International Tourism Conference at Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, Thailand. In accord to the agreement between October 6 University (O6U) and Chiang Mai Rajabhat University (CMRU) Thailand, the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management participated in many activities during the visit (31st Jan., 2012 - 7th February 2013) including the following: 1. Participation in the International Tourism Conference titled: “Egypt- Thailand Relation: Lessons in Business and Cultural and Social Development”. The conference participated include professors from many countries including: October 6 University, Suez Canal University and El Fayoum University (Egypt), Chiang Mai Rajabhat University and Chiang Rai Rajabhat University (Thailand), University of Surrey (UK), Modul University (Austria), and a university from Myanmar 2. Future vision for Middle East Center at Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, which initiated by O6U. 3. Exchanging professors, as Arabic Language Professor from October 6 University was visiting Thailand for 2 weeks, to complete the distance learning program for Thai Students 4. Discussion of developing student exchange program by increasing Thai students’ training period to 2 or 3 months in hotels and tourism companies located in South Sinai and Hurgada under the supervision of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, O6U; and the training of O6U students in Chiang Mai Rajabhat Hotels.
