President of Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) Abdullah Malkawi on Sunday signed a cooperation agreement with the President of Al-Farabi Kazakh University, Jalm Mutanov, in the field of scientific research and development of academic programs. The agreement also envisages the two universities exchanging academic expertise and students. During the meeting with the delegation of the Kazakh University, Malkawi said that JUST is seeking to become a global university in the coming phase since it enjoys an infrastructure that is eligible, indicating that the university now has on its rolls students from around 55 nationalities of brotherly and friendly countries. Malkawi briefed the delegation about the establishment and development of JUST, mainly in the scientific and medical research fields. Mutanov said that Al-Farabi Kazakh University seeks to send students to pursue their study at JUST which enjoys good reputation mainly in the medical and engineering faculties.
