The Kuwait University on Monday announced the start of applying to the UAE's 8th Khalifa Award for Education.
The Khalifa Award aims at supporting the education process, and it adopts the relevant international criteria, said Vice President for Academic Affairs and Post-Graduate Studies at the Faculty of Education, Dr. Ali Shehab, also educational coordinator of the Award.
It also seeks to explore successful educational experiences on the local, regional and Arab levels, as well as encouraging creative people and educational practices, Shehab added in a press conference.
The Award that seeks to "liberalize dormant powers" through honest competitiveness is patronized by the UAE officials.
Deadline for applying for the Award is January 18.
