A team from Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University (PMU), led by its rector Issa Al-Ansari and which included members of the university’s academic and administrative departments, visited Eastern Province Gov. Prince Mohammad bin Fahd at the governorate office. The governor applauded the university’s steps to further enhance educational standards in the province. He emphasized the need for PMU to work coherently by conducting study programs and making curricula more practical. Young professionals must be prepared for total absorption in the job market, he said. The university delegation also comprised a group of students. “PMU must produce sensible professionals in each sector,” said Prince Mohammad. “The university has to redouble its efforts to attain the target of grooming students as tomorrow’s distinguished professionals.” Addressing the students, he said: “Youths are the future of the nation as tomorrow’s respectable citizens.” He encouraged them to focus on their careers by keeping their eyes open to grab opportunities. “It is the best means to contribute toward nation-building attempts.” Al-Ansari explained to the governor the latest initiatives of the university. He briefed him on the university’s adoption of the latest information technology tools, especially sophisticated smart classrooms offering different programs that cater to the needs of modern academic systems.
