Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) President, Mashhoor Al-Refai, discussed with a US delegation headed by the Director of the international programs at the Central Michigan University (CMU), Melissa Brun, the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding on the exchange of students and faculty.
Both sides also discussed the prospects of PSUT's students being trained at the CMU, and agreed on developing new joint programs for the Bachelor and Master degrees. They also voiced their keenness to explore the possibility of the faculty members from the two institutions to conduct research jointly, and cooperate in the areas of entrepreneurship and creativity.
Al-Refai said what distinguishes the university is its focus on creativity that provides a distinctive educational environment which will help the graduates qualifying from this institution in finding jobs in the local and international markets.
He also welcomed the cooperation between the two universities and said it would contribute towards upgrading the educational process and scientific research, as well as enabling the Jordan side to avail the benefits offered through CMU's programs.
