The signing ceremony was attended by QU President Prof Sheikha Abdulla Al-Misnad, CNA-Q President Dr Ken Macleod, CAS Dean Dr Eiman Mustafawi, QU VPs, and faculty. Commenting on the agreement, Dr Mustafawi said: "This MOU directly caters to our vision as a college which is to Empower, Innovate and Engage. It has mutual benefit for both parties, giving our students access to CNA-Q's new laboratory facilities, and similarly welcoming CNAQ students to Qatar University to continue their education for a Bachelor's degree. With QU being the only university in Qatar offering Environmental Sciences programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, we look forward to welcoming a number of new students from CNA-Q in the near future". Dr Macleod said: "Not only will this partnership allow students, faculty and staff from CNA-Q and Qatar University to share research and training opportunities, they will also be able to fully utilize the newest of CNA-Q's purpose built facilities in the Radiation Genetics and Chemical Mutagenesis laboratory.
