The Summer Training Program for students of Qatar University under the auspice of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) began successfully at the governing sport body Headquarters on Sunday. The four week long program brings together 9 students (male and female) from the Faculty of Management and Economy of Qatar University to receive 120 hours of training on work main skills and mechanisms needed to tackle the work problems The program mainly aims to increase the knowledge of students about the QOC’s work environment and the main skills required for work at different departments, includes Human Resources, Public Relations and Marketing, Purchasing and Stores, Planning and Development , Administrative Affairs and Services. Mrs. Sara Al-Musaifri, the Program Chief Coordinator spoke to the trainees at the program opening session Sunday and briefed them about the policies and obligations to be followed during the training period. The program comes in the frame of the QOC’s strategy to prepare young Qatari cadres for achieving sustainable development in several fields and to implement the Qatarization policy.
