The University of Bahrain (UOB)'s Media Club is slated to host a Sport Media training course for ladies in the Bahrain Credit Auditorium at Sakhir Campus on October 15-16.
Organised by the Asian Sports Journalism Federation in association with the Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA)'s Sports Media Committee, the two-day course will be conducted under the auspices of the University's President Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Janahi.
The course covers three main themes: 1- public relations management, 2- information network and mass media. and 3- introductory highlights on sports media in general and experiences of sports media veterans.
The course will be presented by Dr. Atif Assaf the Head of Sports Division of Jordan's Al-Ghad newspaper and Saleh Al-Rashid the Editor-in-Chief of Sports Playgrounds also Director General of JNC TV channel.
The course provides opportunity to nominate 3 distinctive female students to participate at the Asian Ladies Sports Press Forum. The BJA and the Asian and International Federations also accredit the certificates.
The University will receive sports media experts, sportspeople and officials from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
