University of Modern Sciences (UMS), today took an initiative in supporting the ailing children. The CSR team of University of Modern Sciences visited the Pediatric Ward in Latifa Hospital, Dubai, under its' Eid Celebrations Campaign to share joys of Eid and spread smiles among the ailing children. The UMS team, along with the Social Work Unit of Latifa Hospital, toured the children ward. Dr. Adel Hamadeh, Vice President for Administrative '&' Financial Affairs, UMS said, "At UMS, we believe in developing the cognitive skills of our students, build their confidence and make them learn and practice social skills. We believe education is the foundation for a better future, which starts as a child". He further stated, "The true aim of this year's Eid and our visit is to share the importance of education with the children at the hospital who are a vital part of our society, and bring joys to them, because 50 per cent of the cure is happiness. We are thankful to the hospital authorities for their support". The UMS students team distributed presents and toys among children on behalf of the university. Children at the Latifa Hospital were delighted to receive the gifts.
