Yarmouk University Wednesday signed a scientific cooperation agreement with the Swedish University of Lund.
Under the agreement, which was inked by Abdullah Shunnaq, director of the Languages Center at Yarmouk University and Henry Diab, director of Studies Center at Lund, the Swedish university's students are allowed to study Arabic at Yarmouk while Yarmouk students can do their master's and doctoral degrees in architecture in Sweden.
Yarmouk University Vice President Abdullah Al Jarrah praised the strong relations between the two universities, noting that such an agreement will pave the way for further cooperation between them in the form of visits by faculty members, joint scientific research and forums and conferences.
Diab said that this agreement reflects the keenness of the two sides to exchange scientific experiences.
