Officials at Indiana University lifted the campus lockdown Sunday after police arrested two men believed to be involved in the stabbing of a man on campus. The school went on lockdown around 4 a.m. after three men -- all IU students -- got into a fight at an on-campus apartment complex, the Tulip Tree Apartments, CNN reported. One of the men was stabbed in the back in the incident and was taken to IU Health Bloomington Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, The Herald-Times of Bloomington, Ind., reported. The victim is expected to recover, IU-Bloomington Police Lt. Craig Munroe told the Indianapolis Star. Campus officials issued an alert to students to stay indoors as police searched for an "armed individual" on campus, but lifted it by 8 a.m. when two men were arrested, WRTV-TV, Indianapolis reported. IU spokesman Mark Land said students on campus were not at risk because the victim knew his attackers. "It is important to note this incident stemmed from the fight," Land said. "It is not a case where we have an armed individual or individuals roaming campus looking for people to hurt."
