A university in the U.S. state of Texas was evacuated Thursday morning after receiving two bomb threats, a local newspaper reported.The University of St. Thomas campus in Houston received an email bomb threat for the university's Doherty Library around 8 a. m., and a second threat was called in to Harris County Sheriff's Office around 10 a.m., Houston Chronicle reported.The library and another building on the campus were evacuated and being searched by a Houston Police Department bomb sniffing dog, said the report.The university sent an emergency notification to faculty, staff and students following the first threat, before urging them to evacuate campus until further notice.Classes and events at the university were suspended following the second bomb threat.The University of St. Thomas is not the only school in Texas that has been disturbed by threats. Other school districts and universities across the state have faced similar problems.Texas A&M University and Collin College's Spring Creek campus have also been the targets of bomb hoax.
