With only 79 free schools set up in England so far, the think tank Policy Exchange are to advise the government that the way to make them really take off, is to allow private companies to become stakeholders. Director of the Policy Exchange Neil O'Brien thinks that bringing in the private sector could "bring new money and also a lot of new expertise," but critics argue it is more about ideology than basic education needs.
