The Arab League will host on Sunday a high-level conference on enhancing women's rights.
The conference will be organized in cooperation with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the UN Women Organization and the Global Campaign for Equal Nationality Rights, said director of the Arab League department for women and family Enas Mekawi.
Over two days, representatives of regional countries and organizations of civil society will discuss nationality law reforms for women and the positive effect of these reforms on family and society.
She said the conference comes at a time regional countries are paying more attention to reform women's rights in nationality laws,
